Generalized Bloch spheres form-qubit states

2006

m-Qubit states are imbedded in $\mathfrak{Cl}_{2^m}$ Clifford algebras. Their probability spectra then depend on $O(2m)$ or $O(2m+1)$ invariants. Parameter domains for $O(2m(+1))-$ vector and tensor configurations, generalizing the notion of a Bloch sphere, are derived.

N-qubit states as points on the Bloch sphere

2009

We show how the Majorana representation can be used to express the pure states of an N-qubit system as points on the Bloch sphere. We compare this geometrical representation of N-qubit states with an alternative one, proposed recently by the present authors.

The Emergence of Chaos in Quantum Mechanics

2020

Nonlinearity in Quantum Mechanics may have extrinsic or intrinsic origins and is a liable route to a chaotic behaviour that can be of difficult observations. In this paper, we propose two forms of nonlinear Hamiltonian, which explicitly depend upon the phase of the wave function and produce chaotic behaviour. To speed up the slow manifestation of chaotic effects, a resonant laser field assisting the time evolution of the systems causes cumulative effects that might be revealed, at least in principle. The nonlinear Schr&ouml

Bloch functions on the unit ball of an infinite dimensional Hilbert space

2015

The Bloch space has been studied on the open unit disk of C and some ho- mogeneous domains of C n . We dene Bloch functions on the open unit ball of a Hilbert space E and prove that the corresponding space B(BE) is invariant under composition with the automorphisms of the ball, leading to a norm that- modulo the constant functions - is automorphism invariant as well. All bounded analytic functions on BE are also Bloch functions. ones, resulting the fact that if for a given n; the restrictions of the function to the n-dimensional subspaces have their Bloch norms uniformly bounded, then the function is a Bloch one and conversely. We also introduce an equivalent norm forB(BE) obtained by repla…
